    This lot consists of a genuine shipwreck artifact from the 1809 shipwreck of
    Admiral Gardner
    off the coast of England, carrying a treasure of coins to be used by the British East India Company for the spice trade.
    The coin was purchased years ago from the family of one of the divers, who was partially paid with salvaged articles.
    10 Cash coins measure about the size of a U.S. quarter dollar.
    -you get the 10 cash coin shown
    -a Certificate of authenticity card from the salvor
    Now, you can buy Admiral Gardner shipwreck coins on eBay, but the other guys do not throw in this neat BONUS item for free!!
    You get a fragment of a copper keg nail, the nail used to hold the coin kegs together!
    Copper nails were used because the salt air was less injurious than iron nails.
    Of course, the keg nails are much rarer than the coins….
