Up for bids is a 4"x 1 1/2" (when unfolded) empty VINTAGE front striker matchbook from a 1930-40s Era Marathon Oil gas service station in Marysville, Ohio-The RWB cover features the classic "Marathon. Best in the Long Run." Native American marathon runner logo and reads: "Marathon. The Ohio Oil Company Incorporated" on front and reads: "Marathon Gasoline. Oil. Lubricants. Tires. Batteries. Accessories. Best in the long run. Streng & Sons Marathon Service Station 5th and Vines Sts. Marysville, Ohio" on back-Cover is blank inside and the striker is intact-A nice vintage item in lightly used condition with some wear consistent with normal age, use and display, still very cool. Postage on this item is $ 2.95.
