Antique Val St Lambert Tumble-Up Bedside carafe pitcher and cup Set Vaseline Uranium.
Val Saint Lambert canary Yellow Uranium glass bedside tumble up pitcher. Pattern is called Valambert by Val St Lambert early 1900s made in Belgium. Mesmerizing color. A wonderful example of high end glass in the collectible uranium Vaseline color. Bottle also has a stopper, which is somewhat unusual, so it can be used as a carafe as well. Stopper does not appear to be original. These sets are getting harder and harder to find, especially one that’s in good shape.
The bottle is in great overall shape, some wear scratches to the mouth but no chips. Bottom has very minor scratches, no chips that I can find. It measures 7” tall without the stopper. The stopper measures 3.5” tall and has a couple of tiny flea bites, and is ground down but not perfectly smooth. The cup measures 4” tall, has no chips to the rim, just one small imperfection to bottom, might be from factory. Cup is embossed with St Lambert Belgium. This is a truly stunning set, a must have for the collector of Vaseline glass.
Set needs a good cleaning, I will leave that to the next owner.
