    Adventures of Polly and Peter Perkins - Gertrude A. Kay. Pictorial Review Magazine September 1933. Good condition for it age - Ready for framing - the magazine page has been attached to a very heavy piece of paper to give it more strength. 10 x 14.
    Magazine paper dolls were published monthly in many magazines. Dolly Dingles began in 1913 in Pictorial Review and ended in 1933. The series was drawn by Grace G. Drayton who also drew the Campbell's kids. Illustrator Grace Drayton created some of the early paper-doll pages for magazines, including beloved characters like Dolly Dingle and Billy Bumps of Dingle Dell. A new adventure for these plump, chubby-cheeked dolls appeared in each issue of Pictorial Review. Also Corinee Pauli Waterall did amazing work in the Pictorial Review along with Gertrude A.Kay.
