Vintage 80s DX Gasoline Lavell Oil Co. Iowa Truckers Hat Cap Snapback Foam Navy

This vintage DX and Lavell Oil Co. trucker's cap by Designer Award has never been worn.  My father collects caps.  This was stored in his Shop Office, and has been washed.  It is navy blue knit with a white front with "LAVELL OIL CO. Eldora, Iowa" and the DX logo on the front.  I am not from Eldora, but I believe the word "LAVELL" is a mis-print.  This is likely from the LaVelle Oil Co., owned by Don and Evelyn LaVelle.  It is my understanding that Sunoco began re-branding DX stations in the late 1980s, so this is also a true DX collectible.
Full foam lining, adjustable snap back.  It is in excellent vintage condition.  However, please note the foam lining inside the back sections of the cap is a different color and consistency from the front section, indicating it may be near the point where it begins to deteriorate due to age and should be treated gently; please see photos.
